Music in studio or on the road

I've noticed that when I'm taking pix whether walking around or around the house that I tend to listen to certain types of music and that the music seems to effect the outcome of the pix.

Has anyone else ever noticed this?

Some of my favorites are:

  • Anne Sophie-Mutter
  • Dave Matthews
  • Grateful Dead
  • Thelonius Monk
  • Miles Davis

What do you listen to when you are working in the studio or on the road?

When I'm out looking for landscapes or nature photos I'm not usually listening to anything other than things from my environment. But, in the studio, I tend to listen to soft ethereal music for still life and some styles of portraits. The theme from "Ghost in the Machine" gets me going for portraits but, I don't know why. I also like Celtic music while concentrating and visualizing for studio photos.
